Lucca, Italy – Bike the Wall

If it wasn’t for my friend, Sean, we wouldn’t have known about this amazing gem next to Pisa. Lucca is known for its large wall surrounding the city where people bike ride, run, or take a lovely stroll on.

Right next to the train station was a bicycle rental place. We rented ours for 2 hours giving us enough time to ride around the entire city on the wall and had lunch in the city center. This place was beautiful and was a great change of pace from the running around. I highly recommend biking around the wall if ever in Northern Italy with a few hours to spare.
